In it, Ashley discusses a variety of lesser-known (by the general public) labels used by folks in the LGBTQ community apart from the more well known ones.
For example, did you know that there’s such a thing as demisexuality, which exists along the spectrum between asexuality and sexuality? That you can be bisexual, pansexual or multisexual? Or that a skoliosexual person is attracted to non-cis or non-binary individuals?
Ashley does a great job of explaining how each person’s sexuality is unique, and that seemingly subtle nuances between labels carry a lot of meaning for the people claiming them.
It’s a great educational piece for anyone working on/interested in LGBTQ issues. I learned something from it – you probably will too!
